The Bayou

Ma Rei desperately wants to be a jazz singer but works as a waitress in a juke joint hidden in the bayou. When a famous band leader, Kid Boy, comes to town she sees her chance to make her dream a reality. Remi Baud, her mother, an infamous voodoo-mobster, doesn’t want anything like that for her daughter. Due to a vision she had years ago, Remi fears the worst for her daughter if she should leave the bayou. She schemes covertly to put an end to her daughter’s plans. Paul Jean is under attack by Sheriff Danton who is hellbent on shutting down Paul Jean’s business.

Sara Cooper is a detective with the San Diego PD investigating a series of abductions. A couple of children have disappeared without a trace. There is no ransom and no connection between the victims. The case becomes a true personal ordeal for Sara, when her own son disappears. She doesn't know whom she can trust anymore. She is also close to divorce and confronting the accusations from her ex, who she still loves. Time is running out. How far will she go to rescue someone she loves?

He is introduced to a Palestinian terrorist suspect - Monjed as a potential donor. Sefi starts to doubt that Monjed is innocent, and is a victim of terrorism. Therefore Sefi has a tough decision to make. The story is set in Tel-Aviv, Israel.
