FADED AWAY is a band composed of Gilles Bousquet (aka ‘Mr Flash’ / Ed Banger) and Nic Nicola (co-writer of ‘Vandroid’ soundtrack / Ed Banger). They describe their sound as “New Romantics going to L.A,” with an emphasis on melody, energy and emotion. "Weird" is a short animated film about the diversity. It is a shout of a girl usual to be judged like weird and different. She express in the monologue her sufferance and her dream to make possible to delete the concept of weird She thinks that in the end weirdness is only a point of view and that we are all the same. The last bootmaker of Sic, Transylvania by Székely Blanka, Documentary* 5:18
Martin, or as he is widely known in the village: Palimarci is the last Transylvanian bootmaker, who knows how to manufacture traditional Hungarian boots, additional to the beautiful Hungarian folk costumes of the region officially belonging to Romania now. His beautifully embroidered, red edged, brass embossed heeled, black leather boots are inherited by members of many different generations. Screenings/Awards

Born Again Sinner by Eddy Gudakov, Western/Drama* 16:36
'Born Again Sinner' follows a church pastor, Kirk, who is pursued by one of his parishioners. The film opens on Kirk's body lying on the desert floor. His only possessions are a ruined Bible and an intact satchel. He is soon found by a couple Mexican men who spy his body in the distance. Pio, the eldest and his brother-in-law Pancho question Kirk futilely. Screenings/Awards

The stop motion video for the song “Force of Evil", produced by animator Jordan Tager, was created using paper which she hand painted with gouache. Contrasting barren and lush landscapes, the video plays on the song's idea of self renewal. Self centeredness and the constant dismissal of Earth's decaying ecosystems will eventually lead to the destruction of our home planet. How much time do we have left? |

Vari is an annual pilgrimage to Pandharpur - the seat of the Hindu god Vithoba in the Indian state of Maharashtra, in honour of the deity. palakhis (palanquin processions) carrying the paduka (foot prints) of various saints - most notably Dnyaneshwar and Tukaram - from the Varkari (Warkari, 'one who performs the Wari') sect (which venerates Vithoba), are taken from their respective shrines to Pandharpur. The tradition is more than 700 to 800 years old. |
